Membership of the branch is open to anyone interested in the wire-strung harp, whether as players or otherwise. The Wire Branch is part of the parent body, The Clarsach Society (Comunn na Clarsaich) so Wire Branch membership automatically makes you a member of the Clarsach Society. The constitution of the Society can be seen here.

Annual subscriptions are payable on 1 May and are as follows:

• £20 Adults
• £10 Concession (under 18 /  in full-time education / disabled / senior citizen)
• £25 Families or school groups

There is also a postage supplement of £2 or £4 for members outwith the UK if they are unable to receive an electronic (pdf) copy of the newsletter. It has been assumed that if you join online you are able to receive pdfs, if this is not the case please use the feedback form to get in touch and let us know.

Members receive:

• an electronic (if possible) copy of the quarterly journal Wire Strings.
• access to the library on this site containing pdfs of articles, music, branch files etc,
• and are eligible for general Clarsach Society benefits such as harp hire and scholarships.
• New members will receive a copy of Bill Taylor's publication Sources for Fingernail Harp Technique as a welcome to the branch.
