The Branch runs regular workshops in Edinburgh with Bill Taylor - see events page for dates and contact Bill if you are interested in coming along.

A new instructional DVD will be available from the branch shortly, with lessons from Bill Taylor, Ann Heymann and Javier Sainz.

PRIVATE STUDY

Bill Taylor  offers private tuition in the Strathpeffer area, and runs an annual October course for wire players in the Highlands.

Karen Marshalsay teaches in the Glasgow area, and on an annual summer week school at Sabhal Mor Ostaig on Skye which is open to both gut and wire strung harps. You can get in touch with Karen via her website or use the feedback form on this site.

Javier Sáinz teaches at his house in Northern Spain on an individual basis over 2 to 5 days from October to June, with accomodation available.

A regular (non-branch) beginners class runs in the Wighton Centre in Dundee on Saturday afternoons with Simon Chadwick. 

Siobhán Armstrong runs classes in Dublin and Galway, under the auspices of the Irish Historical Harp Society.
